The Jerico Orchestra is a collective set up to explore the relationship between improvised sound and visual art. The Jerico Orchestra is a collective exploring the relationship between improvised sound and visual art using abstract and psychedelic projections which function as an alternative musical score for structuring collective improvisation, a meeting point between Metzger, Messiaen and Sun Ra. Performances consist of three elements united together: the collective mind of the orchestra in action, the projected score, and the response of the audience. Together these three elements create a unique work which must be experienced in its totality.
