‘Roy’s big smoke family’ is a New Orleans inspired funk collective. Led by in-demand Funk and Jazz drummer Roy Pfeffer the band have been making serious waves on the London scene. With long running residencies at places such as Charlie Wright’s and the Archduke in Waterloo

as well as festival appearances at this years Secret Garden Party and Bestival to name a few.

Roy’s big smoke family blows like a Jazz band but plays these traditional grooves and unlike other jazz bands, puts the main emphasis on a communicative gig with the sole aim of getting everyone up to dance!
